TL;DR

  • Binance Pool, Cloud Mining, Pool Savings and related mining services will end November 10 at 07:00 UTC.
  • Miners must redirect equipment before that cutoff; account-verification steps for eligible payouts should be completed by 23:59 UTC the same day.
  • Historical Pool pages remain accessible for 14 days, until November 24 at 07:00 UTC; eligible settlements continue under product and compliance rules.

CASABLANCA, October 13, 2026

Binance announced Tuesday that Binance Pool and its related mining services will close November 10 at 07:00 UTC, giving miners four weeks to switch providers as Bitcoin traded against a weaker prior-session backdrop.

The shutdown covers the mining pool, Cloud Mining, Pool Savings and Transaction Accelerator. Mining alerts and pool APIs will also disappear, while eligible unpaid rewards and settlements will be handled after the service cutoff under existing rules.

Binance’s BTC/USDT market closed October 12 near 81,850 USDT, down 2.30% from the previous close, with a session high of 84,352 and low of 81,750.09. ChartExchange’s historical table corroborates those figures. The completed session predates Tuesday’s notice and does not measure a shutdown-driven price reaction.

In its October 13 closure notice, Binance attributed the decision to its ongoing review of products and services. It did not disclose a more specific financial or operational reason.

The announcement reverses the direction of Binance’s December 2025 plans for the pool, which included more infrastructure improvements and expanded promotional campaigns in 2026. It also follows SBI Crypto’s earlier mining-pool exit, another case requiring miners to redirect equipment before a provider stopped accepting work.

The immediate exposure is interrupted earnings and access to settlement records. The notice concerns Binance’s mining products and does not announce a shutdown of its broader cryptocurrency exchange.

Binance Pool miners face November 10 cutoff

At 07:00 UTC on November 10, Binance will begin disconnecting mining connections and disable its Stratum URLs and mining endpoints. Work submitted afterward will no longer be accepted, processed or credited.

Stratum is a communication system used by mining machines to receive work from a pool and submit results. Changing the destination connects the hardware to a different operator; it does not require transferring ownership of the machine.

The Bitcoin developer guide explains that a mining share proves a miner performed part of the work. Most shares are accounting evidence rather than completed Bitcoin blocks, and pools use them to allocate rewards.

That distinction explains the cutoff’s practical significance. A machine can remain powered on without generating payable shares for its former pool. Binance explicitly asks miners to reconfigure equipment before the deadline to avoid interruptions.

The company expects normal pool operations to continue until the cutoff. Eligible shares submitted beforehand will enter the final reward calculation, giving the migration period a defined end rather than an immediate halt.

Cloud Mining customers face a different issue because their product provides purchased computing capacity instead of a connection for their own equipment. The closure notice does not give a universal refund amount or a contract-by-contract settlement schedule.

The same announcement ends Transaction Accelerator, Telegram hashrate alerts, email notifications and pool API services. Operators using those tools will lose the associated service access alongside mining connections.

A pool closure alone does not establish that its customers’ computing power will leave Bitcoin permanently. The instructions expressly envisage moving machines elsewhere. The resulting distribution among pools will depend on where miners reconnect.

Pool Savings and final payouts have separate deadlines

Binance asks users with active Pool Savings positions to unsubscribe or redeem before the service ends. That requirement concerns a savings position, separately from redirecting a physical mining machine.

The notice also asks users to complete necessary account steps, including identity verification where applicable, by November 10 at 23:59 UTC. The purpose is to facilitate remaining eligible rewards, refunds or settlements.

The two November 10 times should not be conflated. The later account deadline does not reopen mining or allow additional reward accrual after 07:00 UTC. It addresses whether an account can receive payments already eligible under the rules.

Binance says outstanding rewards and balances will be processed after mining stops, subject to product rules, account status, risk controls, compliance checks and applicable laws. The announcement refers users to the Mining Pool Product Terms for eligibility.

No single completion date is stated for every payment. An eligible unpaid reward, a savings balance and a possible cloud-mining refund are different claims; the notice does not convert them into one unconditional cash payment.

That separation makes account records consequential. Share submissions document work, savings records identify positions, and payout histories show earlier distributions. Saving those materials preserves the information needed to compare a final calculation with prior activity.

Binance has continued expanding other products, including gold and silver perpetual futures. Those launches provide company context, but the closure notice does not say their economics caused the mining exit.

Binance mining records disappear November 24

Binance will remove Pool links from its homepage on November 10. Historical Pool pages will remain accessible for another 14 days, until November 24 at 07:00 UTC, for records and payout status where available.

That viewing period is not an extension of mining operations. Binance asks customers to download or save relevant reports and transaction histories before the pages become permanently inaccessible.

The decision follows a period of investment in the service. In its December 17, 2025 recap, Binance reported more than 20 system upgrades, 10 campaigns including eight Super Mine events, and additional rewards for 590 miners.

The same recap outlined infrastructure and user-experience improvements for 2026. Those earlier statements show the change in direction; they do not reveal the current pool’s profitability, active customer count or outstanding settlement liability.

Those figures were not disclosed in Tuesday’s notice. Nor did Binance name a preferred replacement pool or publish a measured estimate of how much Bitcoin computing power will move between operators.

Broader sentiment weakened but remained in Greed territory. Alternative.me’s Bitcoin-focused Fear and Greed Index read 57 on October 13, against 69 the previous day. The index does not measure Binance Pool customer confidence or payout eligibility.

The next operational milestone is the November 10 mining cutoff, followed by the November 24 records deadline. Customers still need product-specific settlement details; the announcement establishes when services and page access end, while leaving individual payment amounts and completion dates unresolved.
