NEW YORK, Aug. 14, 2026

U.S. spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds recorded $329 million of net outflows across the four completed sessions from Aug. 10 through Aug. 13, as Fidelity’s FBTC accounted for $146.3 million of withdrawals, according to Farside Investors’ daily fund table.

The latest $131.1 million daily outflow extended a reversal that Daily Crypto Briefs first tracked as $197.9 million leaving the funds over three sessions. The additional session is a material update, not a restatement: it lifts the withdrawal total by about two-thirds and makes the four-day move larger than any of the individual days in the period except Aug. 10.

Bitcoin traded near $62,840 when checked, down 1.5% over 24 hours. Its 24-hour range was about $62,648 to $63,918, while its market value was roughly $1.26 trillion and 24-hour volume was $20.07 billion, CoinGecko data showed.

Farside’s table logs fund creations and redemptions, not every purchase or sale of ETF shares. It therefore does not identify the investors behind the activity or establish why they changed exposure. The data does provide a daily, fund-by-fund measure of the net issuance and redemption activity reported for the U.S. spot products.

Bitcoin ETF Outflows Reach $329 Million in Four Sessions

The group posted $144.6 million of outflows on Aug. 10, followed by a $7.8 million inflow on Aug. 11 and $61.1 million of outflows on Aug. 12. The $131.1 million figure reported for Aug. 13 brought the four-session result to $329 million.

That follows the sector’s $865.3 million inflow during the five completed sessions from Aug. 3 through Aug. 7. The direction changed when markets reopened, but the new total does not erase the prior week’s intake. It does show that the immediate follow-through was negative after a week in which BlackRock’s IBIT supplied much of the group inflow.

On Aug. 13, Farside reported withdrawals from several funds: $58.8 million from ARK 21Shares’ ARKB, $55.1 million from FBTC, $36.3 million from Grayscale Bitcoin Trust and $9.3 million from Bitwise’s BITB. Grayscale’s Bitcoin Mini Trust added $38.9 million, and Morgan Stanley’s MSBT added $7.1 million, partly offsetting the daily total.

The aggregation matters. ETF shares can change hands between investors without a new creation or redemption, and daily flow reports do not disclose whether any one investor’s move reflected a tactical trade, a rebalance or an authorized participant’s activity. The confirmed point is the reported net direction for each fund, not a complete account of underlying Bitcoin transactions.

Fidelity FBTC Leads the Four-Day Bitcoin ETF Withdrawals

FBTC recorded $146.3 million of net outflows across the four sessions: $40.3 million on Aug. 10, $4.1 million on Aug. 11, $46.8 million on Aug. 12 and $55.1 million on Aug. 13. That was the largest four-day withdrawal total in the Farside table.

The Fidelity fund page identifies the product as the Fidelity Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund. Farside does not break its flow data down by client type, so the figures cannot show whether the withdrawals came from retail investors, advisers, institutions or market makers.

IBIT’s four-session result was a net $23.4 million outflow. Its $50.2 million creation on Aug. 11 tempered $53.6 million, $14.3 million and $5.7 million withdrawals on the other three sessions. BlackRock’s product page describes IBIT as a trust designed to reflect Bitcoin’s price, not an operating company holding a discretionary corporate balance sheet.

The fund-level dispersion is why a single sector figure needs context. FBTC’s repeated withdrawals and ARKB’s Aug. 13 reading weighed on the group, while inflows into other products reduced the headline total without cancelling the negative flows at those funds.

Bitcoin Slides Below $63,000 as Fund Data Turns Negative

Bitcoin was about $2,033 below its $64,873 Aug. 7 close in the market snapshot reviewed for this report. That price move occurred alongside the fund reversal, but the available sources do not establish that ETF redemptions caused the decline; Bitcoin trades around the clock across exchanges, derivatives venues and other markets.

The Crypto Fear & Greed Index read 29 on Aug. 14, classified as Fear. The indicator is Bitcoin-focused and uses a sentiment composite, so it should be treated as market context rather than a measure of ETF demand.

The ETF data is also distinct from exchange-balance signals. Daily Crypto Briefs previously examined a reported 49,000 BTC move into exchanges, a separate on-chain measure that cannot be added to creation-and-redemption totals as if both datasets identify the same sellers.

The next confirmed test is the next completed-session table: whether FBTC’s withdrawals persist, whether IBIT again offsets them and whether the group returns to net creations. As of the Aug. 13 session, the verified headline is four days of reported outflows totaling $329 million.
