NEW YORK, October 31, 2026
Ondo Finance launched seven investment portfolio tokens on Solana after reporting more than $45 million held in its earlier Ethereum and BNB Chain products, extending tokenized stock and ETF exposure as SOL traded below $100.
The October 29 expansion makes Ondo Intelligent Portfolios available on Solana to eligible investors outside the United States. Each token tracks a defined basket of Ondo’s tokenized securities, allowing holders to maintain an allocation without separately buying and rebalancing every position.
Solana’s SOL closed October 30 at $96.15, up 0.818%, after trading between $92.14 and $98.65, according to ChartExchange’s completed UTC-session data. It had fallen 6.783% the previous day. Those figures describe the network token’s market backdrop, not portfolio subscriptions or evidence of a response to Ondo’s announcement.

SOLOndo’s $45 million precedes the Solana launch
In its Solana announcement, Ondo attributed more than $45 million in total value locked to the first few weeks of trading on Ethereum and BNB Chain. It did not provide a separate Solana launch balance, investor count or subscription breakdown for the seven strategies.
Total value locked measures assets held in the products. It is not company revenue, a trading-volume figure or a return earned by investors. The announcement also does not establish how much of that balance came from fresh subscriptions rather than changes in the value of underlying holdings.
The expansion follows Ondo’s September launch of BlackRock-model portfolio tokens, when the initial trio was available on Ethereum and BNB Chain and Solana was still planned. The concrete change is a live third network with seven named products, rather than another announcement of the original three strategies.
Ondo’s current product page independently labels Solana as available now. That changes distribution: an eligible investor can hold a portfolio token on Solana instead of needing to use one of the earlier chains. It does not establish that the new network offers lower overall investment costs or better trading liquidity.
The distinction is consequential for measuring adoption. A combined balance across earlier networks cannot serve as evidence that Solana users have already committed the same amount. Network-specific balances and redemption activity would offer a clearer measure of how much demand the expansion adds.
Seven Solana portfolios include three BlackRock models
The income lineup comprises BLKHIon, Ondo High Income Powered by BlackRock; YLD5on, Ondo 5 Targeted Income TR Portfolio; and YLD8on, Ondo 8 Targeted Income TR Portfolio. Growth options are BLKGRWon, Ondo High Growth Powered by BlackRock, and BLKDIGon, Ondo Diversified Growth Powered by BlackRock.
The two thematic offerings are MAG7Xon, Ondo Magnificent 7 and Crypto Portfolio, and BRAINon, Ondo AI Leaders Portfolio. The seven names describe different strategies, not seven interchangeable versions of the same allocation.
Ondo says three use strategies BlackRock developed for it. Its product disclosures limit that relationship to nondiscretionary models: BlackRock does not manage the onchain portfolios, select their investments or exercise discretion over them. Ondo determines implementation and operates the products.
The securities held through the structure are also distinct from direct ownership of the underlying funds. Ondo’s notice says portfolio tokens are separate securities issued by Ondo and do not give investors a direct claim on the underlying funds or recourse to their managers.
According to Ondo’s original product explanation, the baskets use Ondo Stocks as their building blocks, with allocation, rebalancing and fee rules implemented through smart contracts. Rebalancing restores target weights on a defined schedule rather than requiring each holder to submit individual trades.
That automation handles portfolio maintenance, not investment outcomes. A strategy exposed to equities or bonds can still lose value. BlackRock’s name on three models does not create a guarantee of principal or make the entire seven-product range BlackRock-managed.
Ondo redemption rules survive 24-hour transfers
Ondo says eligible non-U.S. investors can mint directly after completing onboarding. The checks establish identity, permitted jurisdiction and eligibility, including sanctions screening. Direct redemption is restricted to successfully onboarded, eligible tokenholders.
The company separately describes peer-to-peer transfers and acquisition through supported wallets, exchanges and decentralized finance applications around the clock. Holding a transferred token, however, does not itself confer the right to redeem through Ondo. Wallet possession and issuer access are different conditions.
The Solana release describes possible uses such as lending collateral or savings products, conditional on applications supporting the tokens. It does not name a newly live lending market, disclose borrowing limits or establish universal acceptance across Solana services.
That is a different development from the sector’s earlier growth in individual tokenized stocks. A portfolio token packages several exposures into one transferable asset, but its usefulness as collateral still depends on the receiving application’s rules, price feeds and ability to handle liquidations.
Broader sentiment remained cautious. Alternative.me’s Bitcoin-focused Fear & Greed Index read 30, or Fear, when checked October 31, unchanged from the previous day. The measure is market context, not a survey of demand for Ondo portfolios.

Checked Oct. 31, 2026 UTCOndo said more portfolios are planned but did not provide their launch dates in the Solana announcement. The next measurable evidence will be Solana-specific assets, actual integrations and trading and redemption activity, alongside the fees and execution conditions investors face.
