Bullish Picks Aptos and Ethereum After 61M-Share Solana Demo

TL;DR

  • Bullish selected Solana, Aptos and Ethereum for equity tokenization.
  • A 61-million-share demonstration used Solana; expansion to the other networks is planned.
  • Equiniti's acquisition remains subject to closing conditions.

November 3, 2026

Bullish named Solana, Aptos and Ethereum as initial partners for tokenized equities on November 3, following a 61-million-share Solana demonstration as exchanges compete to bring registered stocks onto blockchains.

The company’s announcement describes expansion to Aptos and Ethereum as planned. It does not establish that all three networks already offer the same service or that investors can freely move shares between them.

Bitcoin closed November 2 at $76,674.13, down 1.990%, after trading between $76,553 and $78,922, according to ChartExchange’s historical prices. These completed-session figures provide the broader market backdrop, rather than evidence of a response to Bullish’s announcement.

Bullish’s Solana demo precedes network expansion

At the October 27 New York Stock Exchange event, Bullish and Equiniti demonstrated a transfer of reserved BLSH shares, completing it in seconds, the company said. The reserved shares are earmarked for the Equiniti acquisition, with the final issuance determined at closing.

Bullish said the official ownership record remains with the transfer agent. That makes the distinction between a blockchain transfer and the shareholder register central to understanding the service.

Its tokenization product page describes tokens minted by the transfer agent against the register of record, with ownership rights attached to the share itself. It also describes compliance controls, institutional custody or approved wallets, and screening of participants.

This is an issuer-sponsored model: the company whose equity is represented participates in creating the instrument. The structure differs from a third-party product designed only to track a stock’s price. Legal rights and the register remain relevant even when the transfer uses a public blockchain.

The same distinction sits behind the Dinari and tZERO brokerage framework. A blockchain can carry an instrument, while separate arrangements govern brokerage access, custody and shareholder servicing. Network selection alone cannot answer those questions.

Equiniti’s $4.2 billion deal remains pending

The May acquisition announcement valued the transaction at $4.2 billion, comprising $1.85 billion of assumed debt and approximately $2.35 billion of Bullish stock, subject to customary adjustments. It targeted January 2027 for closing.

Equiniti was described as serving nearly 3,000 issuer clients and 20 million shareholders, while processing about $500 billion in annual payments. Those figures measure the transfer agent’s existing business, not assets already tokenized or committed to the new networks.

The acquisition would combine share-record administration with Bullish’s issuance, compliance and trading infrastructure. That is the strategic connection between buying a transfer agent and announcing additional blockchain partners.

November’s network decision does not itself complete that transaction. Investors should separate a reserved-share demonstration, the eventual issuance of acquisition consideration and the legal closing of the deal. Each is a different event with different consequences for shareholders.

Bullish’s product page also says some illustrated stages describe how the companies may work together after closing. It lists traditional-market interoperability, partner distribution and some collateral applications as work in development. Those qualifications limit what can be inferred from an end-to-end product presentation.

Tokenized stocks still face access and trading rules

The wider U.S. framework is also conditional. The SEC’s September 17 innovation exemption permits certain tokenized National Market System stocks to trade through qualifying permissioned venues using automated market makers and liquidity pools.

Its conditions include limits on symbols and trading volume, equivalent shareholder rights, public auditable smart contracts and trading stoppages aligned with the underlying stock’s primary exchange. The exemptions are scheduled to expire five years after publication.

That order is broader regulatory context. It does not, by itself, establish that a particular Bullish product qualifies for the relief or that every customer can access it. A network’s technical availability and a person’s permission to trade are separate requirements.

Earlier Solana tokenized-equities coverage examined trading activity. Tuesday’s announcement instead concerns infrastructure choices. More supported networks do not automatically create more buyers, tighter spreads or deeper liquidity; those outcomes require observable trading and participation.

Market sentiment remained cautious: Alternative.me’s index stood at 26, or Fear, compared with 37 a day earlier. The measure describes broader crypto sentiment rather than demand for tokenized BLSH.

The reviewed announcement did not provide Aptos or Ethereum rollout dates, network-specific volumes or a list of additional issuers ready to launch. Confirmed deployments, their access terms and completion of the Equiniti transaction remain the next evidence needed to assess the expansion.
